Errata for Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Designer 2007 Step by Step
The errata list is a list of errors and their corrections that were found after the product was released. If the error was corrected in a later version or reprint the date of the correction will be displayed in the column titled "Date Corrected".

Two errors:
1) The explanatory paragraph for step 7 says, "The New dialog box opens, with the SharePoint Content tab active. ..." It should say, "The New dialog box opens, with the Web Site tab active."
2) The explanatory paragraph ends and omits a further instruction that is prerequisite to carrying out the next step (item 8). Add to the end of the paragraph, "Select Team Site."

The reported is error is correct. The explanatory paragraph for step 7 says, "The New dialog box opens, with the SharePoint Content tab active. ..." It should say, "The New dialog box opens, with the Web Site tab active."
The Team Site template is automatically selected, but you can select that template or another one prior to creating the boxes subsite.

Should read "Double-click NewTask.aspx" (instead of "Double-click
NewForm.aspx").
Otherwise, the reader would be making changes to the original page
instead of a copy of the page.
