Is the capital of Alaska Juneau or Anchorage ? ;-)

Note from the Author or Editor:
Juneau :-)

I've fixed it in the source repository for the next build.

@mediaobject
under Examples

In the current online edition, the example text for mediaobject has a trivial typo. URL is http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/mediaobject.html

<para>... Often considered one of the most
beautiful ducks in North America, the mail wood duck has a metallic
purple and green head ...</para>

"mail" should be "male", of course.

(I kvetch because I care...)

Note from the Author or Editor:
Yeah. *blush*

Fixed.

Table 1-2

In the "interface" row of the table, the "recommended mapping" column reads "Use menuchoice or...". The word "or" uses in a monospace font where it should use a proportional font.

Note from the Author or Editor:
I don't see anything in the markup that could have caused that. It's possible that I fixed it already. Thanks for letting me know.

Example 2-1

Example 2-1 contains:

<info>
<title>My First Book</title>
<author><firstname>Jane</firstname><surname>Doe</surname></author>
<copyright><year>2010</year><holder>Jane Doe</holder></copyright>
</info>

It seems that <author> can not directly contain <firstname> or
<surname>. Perhaps this should be:

<info>
<title>My First Book</title>
<author><personname><firstname>Jane</firstname><surname>Doe</surname></personname></author>
<copyright><year>2010</year><holder>Jane Doe</holder></copyright>
</info>

Note from the Author or Editor:
Good catch. I thought all the examples were validated, but the ones that can't conveniently be made valid aren't. Fixed for the V.next

Description, next para, first line

The phrase in the first sentence (following the section "Description") which reads "(one without a title)" should read "(one with a title)".

Note from the Author or Editor:
Chanted the word "without" in the parenthetical expression "(one without a title)" to "with".

(I've corrected the error in the master sources.)
