The words "trash your old iTunes folder" are incorrect, and caused me to lose my playlists. The words should be "trash your old iTunes Media folder" or "trash your old iTunes Music folder".
It was a very disappointing experience to spend money on a book to avoid this type of error and then have the error happen to me anyway.
