"would still show remaining duration" should be "would still show remaining cost"

Last paragraph should read as follows On the other hand, the Cost Variance field is the Cost field minus the Baseline Cost field, so it’s a positive value when the result is undesirable—the project or task is over budget. Keep in mind, CV applies only to completed tasks, because tasks have earned value only when they’re complete. Cost Variance, on the other hand, shows variance as long as you have a baseline set. (See page 377 to learn how to change the definition of “complete” in Project.) Main change is removing Actual from before Cost in first sentence. And changing second to last sentence to end in as long as you have a baseline set

If TCPI is greater than 1.0, the remaining baseline cost is greater than the remaining dollars, which means you don’t have enough money left to pay for the remaining work. If the baseline cost for the remaining work is less than the available dollars, then you have a surplus. TCPI for the tiger project is $180,000/$190,000 or .95, another way of saying the project is under budget.
