"If You Have a Mac" section

The author wants to make a change to this book to reflect the fact that the Mac version of the book now exists.

On page 5, there's a section called "If You Have a Mac". Please replace the first paragraph of that section and the first sentence of the second paragraph with this:
---------------------------------------------
This book covers Elements 6 for Windows. There's a separate edition of this book for Elements 6 for Mac: <i>Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac: The Missing Manual<i>. If you can, you should try to get the correct book for your version. However, you can use this book with the Mac version. Just substitute @cmd for Ctrl and Option for Alt whenever you see keyboard shortcuts. About 98 percent of the Editor?s functions work the same on both platforms. However, this book?s sections on the Organizer apply only to Windows. (See page xx for more on the difference between the Editor and the Organizer.) The Mac version of Elements includes Adobe Bridge rather than the Organizer.

If you really want the Organizer and you have a Mac with an Intel processor, the Windows version works well in Apple's Bootcamp... (rest of sentence can stay the same).

2nd Bullet Point - From the Editor...

The Bullet Point says:
From the Editor, for files not already in the Organizer.

Next sentence:
You can select an image that's stored in the Organizer...

So it seems like the Bullet Point should say:
From the Editor, for files already in the Organizer.

First bullet point - Zoom In/Out

First bullet point (Zoom In/Out) ends with "...explained on page 84."

It is page 84, so "...explained below." is better.

screen shot, Figure 16-2

The screen shot shows a button for printer preferences below the warning to enable color management in the printer preferences dialog. That button does not exist in my version and when I phoned Adobe they didn't have it either in the Mac version of the program. I spent a whole weekend figuring out how to set my preferences. You do explain how to do this in pages 431-432, but you don't have a picture so I didn't understand your explanation until I figured it out for myself.

Note from the Author or Editor:
NOTE: this was submitted for the wrong book. It's an error in the Elements 6 for Mac book.

The button did get dropped in the shipping version, and the graphic for that figure and figure 16-3 should probably be updated if there's ever a reprint, but there is no callout or text reference to it anywhere that needs changing.
