Printed Page 143
Figure 4-16

This Figure seems lost as it is not referenced in the text. Perhaps on page 144 there was an unfulfilled intention to reference it under 'Summarize'.

Note from the Author or Editor:
Fixed in 9-09 reprint.

Figure 4-17

Figure 4-17 is unreferenced. Likely it was intended to be referenced on page 145, paragraph 2, instead of "5-19".

Note from the Author or Editor:
It's actually referenced at the top of page 147. Maybe it was fixed in an earlier reprint.

2nd paragraph

Note page 141, paragraph 7: "(Examples of Carbonized programs include ... the Finder itself). Now note the description here: "But in many Cocoa programs - including the Finder...). So is Finder a Cocoa program or a Carbon program? While we're at it why keep writing "the Finder"? We don't say "the Safari", "the Expose", etc. Did you go to "the" Ohio State University or something? Or maybe you're from The Hague?

Note from the Author or Editor:
Corrected in 9-09 printing.

iTornado Discount

You state that readers of this book will receive 20% off + free shipping & handling when buying iTornado. This is not the case. Data Drive Thru do not seem to recognise the missingmanuals Promo Code.

Note from the Author or Editor:
I have revised the text and removed the ad from the book.
