A more minor correction: the "2." should be moved to the left, to agree with the
formatting of the rest of the list.

This sentence is confusing. It would be better to say "When you're finished building
the list, either press Return twice or click the highlighted list icon in the
Formatting Palette to turn it off."

In the parentheses, the paragraph symbol was left out.

The text refers to the Formatting Palette, which is not shown in figure 4-4. Rather,
the figure shows the Modify Style dialog box, which you get when you click on the
little triangle and then select Modify Style from the pop-up menu..

Readers should also be told that the little triangle next to a style's name does not
appear until you hover the cursor over the style name in the Formatting Palette.

The text says that the figure shows the dialog box settings for a two-column format,
but it actually shows a one-column format.

The figure referred to is actually the bottom portion of Figure 4-6 (not 4-7).

Again, the text refers to Figure 4-6 (not 4-7).

In order to agree with the figure, the caption should read "The wrapping controls in
the Format dialog box (left) or on the Formatting Palette (right) let you ..." Note
that the verb must be changed to "let" in order to agree with "controls"

The second sentence--"To select an entire column"--is incomplete.

This figure does not agree with the adjacent text. The text talks about setting size,
alignment and text wrapping, but the figure is all about borders and shading, which
were covered on pages 166-167.

Also, the caption for this figure starts with an incomplete sentence ("The Table
Properties").

The caption text and the figure do not agree. The caption text refers to the Show
pop-up menu, but the figure shows the Display for Review pop-up.

The button is actually called Track Changes (plural).

The caption says that the word "typical" has been changed to "characteristic."
In the figure, "typical" has been changed to "average."

The fourth sentence begins "Right off the bat, as shown here," but it is not clear
where "here" is, as there is no figure in the text box. The sentence should read
"Right off the bat, as shown in Figure 6-2, ..."

The discussion of points is actually on page 108 (not 109).

The text should refer to Figure 6-10 (not 6-11).

In the third line, there is an extraneous close parenthesis after 133.

The last sentence did not get updated during proofing. It should read: Now see
"Length of Summary" below

The caption does not match the figure. The first sentence says that " ... the Field
Options dialog box may show one Options tab, as shown here, or two Switches tabs." In
fact, the figure shows two Switches tabs, just the opposite of what the caption says.

The last sentence says that making bookmarks visible is described above. It is
actually described below, on the next page.

The page number to which the reader is being referred has been left out.

In the first line, there is an extraneous close parenthesis after "page 244".

This text is confusing. Since it is under a heading that refers to the Create pop-up
button, the reader would obviously think that the statement "As you can see from the
pop-up button" refers to the Create button. In fact, it refers to the "Get Data"
button. Change the text to read "As you can see from the Get Data pop-up button, Word
comes ready ..."

Figure and figure caption do not agree. Caption says field name is "ShoeSize," but
figure shows it as "shoesize."

The caption refers to the lower left and upper right portions of the figure. They are
actually on the lower right and upper left.

In line 3, a close parenthesis is missing after "page 395".

"After the logo screen pops up, you'll be given two choices:
