are described as huskies by the author. I'm very sure that the canids

Hack #3

BootVis is no longer available from Microsoft's site.
Note: Microsoft has inexplicably taken bootvis.exe off its site, and it's
unclear whether it will ever post it again. However, old software never dies
--- on the Internet it lives on --- and so you can download it from
http://www.apcslonline.com/NOTESRING/HomeNR7.nsf/0/992a118207ef9705c1256ca60
0472394/$FILE/BootVis.exe or from http://home.no.net/frydland/downloads.htm.
If for some reason it's not available on those sites, do a Google search
using the search terms "download bootvis.exe" and you'll find other places
from where you can download it.
