The DNS (domain name system) is referred to as the "domain
name service" throughout the book.

Note from the Author or Editor:
IANA refers to DNS as the Domain Name Service (http://www.iana.org/domains/) but IETF uses Domain Name System.

All instances of Domain Name Service could be changed to Domain Name System.

"Here you can see that the wall daemon (walld) operates using UDP, while the kernel statistics server (rstatd ) uses TCP."
should be:
"Here you can see that the wall daemon (walld) and the kernel statistics server (rstatd ) both operate using UDP."
