Here are the changes that were made in the 11/98 reprint:


(412) line 6:  "**UNKNOWN XREF**" now reads "The following table"


{485} line 30:

	/chem/pub/old/gold/dat

now reads

	/chem/pub/old/gold.dat


(502) for "ibs" and "obs", changed 

    "which must be a multiple of the system block size (which is usually 
     512 bytes)." 

to 
    "in bytes (the default is 512)."
