UNCONFIRMED  errors and comments from readers: 

{257} 4th paragraph;
Book states "Whereas ROUNDDOWN() always rounds a number towards its smallest value (so that =ROUNDDOWN(-3.4,0) gives you -4)"

This is incorrect; =ROUNDDOWN(-3.4,0) returns a result of -3 instead. =TRUNC(-3.4,0) and =ROUNDDOWN(-3.4,0) return the same value.


{286} Table 9-3 Advanced Statistical Functions (continued) has
the exact same descriptions for VAR() and VARA() Functions.  This
is incorrect.



{598} Figure 21-3;
One of the values in the graphic on p. 598 is incorrect. The graphic depicts a section of the practice file named DifferentSummaries.xlsx. In that file on Sheet1, there is a summary table comparing purchases made by Males and Females from different cities. The value in cell E17 should be 3,566, not $5,155.67. 


{630} End of the "Settings" section;
You omitted an explanation of the "Apply these changes to all other cells with the same settings" box on the Data Validation Settings screen. What does this box mean? I'm a newbie and I wish you had explained it....
