In the "Examples" section on page 22, the first line of the first code snippet is
this:

var SnapFoo = document.evaluate(//*[@class='foo']",

That snippet is missing a leading double quotation mark. Here's what it should be:

var SnapFoo = document.evaluate("//*[@class='foo']",
