However the Freescale datasheet describes it as a "low side power switch". Given this, the fourth paragraph has a corresponding error. Activating a switch does not connect the load to Vpwr (which is the MC33298's MOSFET gate drive supply) but to ground. So the text, "When a given switch is activated, the corresponding output is connected to the VPWR supply..." should be changed to "...the corresponding output is connected to ground..." (278) Figure 15-1; In figure 15-1, the AVR processor register diagram indicates that the register pairs R26:R27, R28:R29, and R30:R31 make up the X, Y, and Z 16-bit registers. However, the text which indicates this reads "X-register low byte" (for example) for both registers. Obviously one or the other of the registers must be the high byte of the 16-bit register.
