3rd paragraph

In the "About These Arrows" section:

It reads:

"Open the System Folder (arrow) Preferences (arrow) Remote Access folder." That's
shorthand for a much longer instruction that directs you to open three nested folders
in sequence, like this: "On your hard drive, you'll find a folder called System.
Open that. Inside the System folder is a folder called Library; double-click it to
open it. Inside that folder is yet another one called Fonts. Double-click to open
it, too."

while the last five sentences of that section SHOULD read:

System. Open that. Inside the System folder is a folder called Preferences; double-

The "the" before National Exasperater on Page 47, Point 26, should, also, be
capitalized for the same reason.

The "Note"

It says in the note that "you can no longer use it to apply styles" referring to the
CSS Styles Panel. This is not true. You can right-click a style (in Windows only,
probably) to get a context menu containing an "Apply" option. Or you can click the
panel's context menu button (Mac and Windows) to get the "Apply" option.

Also, further down creating a new style is discussed, but no mention is made of the
Panel context menu where you will also find the "New..." option.

Last paragraph of the page

On the first line of the paragraph, the book refers to a class style called .content,
but elsewhere in the paragraph, when it explains that Dreamweaver will add a special
property to the page's code, it uses a class name called .company. The first
sentence of the paragraph is one place where this error occurs: When you apply a
class style (.content, for example) to a tag, Dreamweaver adds a special class
property to the page's code, like this:<p class=company>. That part that says <p
class =company> should read
<p class = content>, shouldn't it?

1st paragraph

"If your page has three different Heading 1 (<h1>) paragraphs, and you want the third
heading to have a different style than the other two, you're out of luck. The only
way to remove the formatting is to delete the <h1> style altogether..."

In fact, you can add a class to a specific instance of the h1 tag, and the class
style will override the tag style. For example, the third heading 1 tag can read:

<h1 class="style2"> ... </h1>

The class styles will take precedence over the tag styles, but any tag styles that
don't conflict with the class styles will still apply.

Figure 7-29

If Figure 7-29 on page 247 doesn't look like you're copy of Dreamweaver
MX 2004, you may have your preferences set to use HTML instead of CSS
for basic styling. To change this choose Edit --> Preferences
(Dreamweaver --> Preferences on Mac); select the General category in
the Preferences window; and make sure the "Use CSS instead of HTML
tags" box is checked. Click the OK button to close the Preferences
window and apply the change. Choose Modify --> Page Properties, and the
dialog should now look like figure 7-29.
