(357) 1st paragraph under Using a global pop-up field... section; Delete the extra period at the end of the first sentence. Add a period at the end of that first paragraph. [426] Tip box; The tip box references how non text fields can have text formatting applied and suggests that the answer is later in the chapter, but there is no subsequent mention of how to apply text formatting to date fields. Author's reply: The phrase "as you'll see later in this chapter" might imply that there is a specific instruction set about applying text formatting to other fields, but it certainly doesn't mention date fields. Maybe it would be more clear if we just shortened the tip by removing the "as you'll see later in this chapter" bit. {450} First full paragraph.; the calculation given in the book contains two fields not in your database example for chapter 11: Invoice Amount or Total Paid. Author's reponse: She is correct. There is a minor mismatch between the names. The book calls the field in question "Invoice Amount," but the file calls it "Total Due." Also, we don't specifically state that people should create a field called Total Paid, so that will be corrected. {488} Figure 13-12; the IF statement needs a "not" operator. ie: If [Not IsEmpty ( Customers::Email Address ) {488} figure 13-12; Screen shot is wrong. The second step says "open URL" instead of "send mail". Also, less importantly, the error message is not the one we were instructed to type in on page 487, #6. Thus, the statement on page 487 #8 that "Your script should now look like the one shown in Figure 13-12." is misleading. {518} paragraph under figure 14-10; Add the following xRef: (also see Figure 13-9, where Resume Script is clearly shown) (532) Figure 14-17; The figure shows a cropped version of the send mail window, rather than the full screen shot. {566} Step #1; "click the last Set Field step" should be: "click the last script step..." (567) sidebar, 2nd column, first line Says: The rational behind Should say: The rationale behind (570) First paragrah under figure 15-25; "The next item left in the TODO list is "Create a line item record." should be: "The next item you'll tackle in the TODO list..." (575) Note at the bottom; It says the relationship graph is in fig. 15-28 but it is in 15-27. {575} fig. 15-28; Step five in the script says "Set Variable [$$LineItemID; ..... However, step 2 on page 574 said to name it $LineItemID because it can be a local variable. Same thing in the two following Set Field steps in fig. 15-28. Author's response: This screen shot is wrong. The text is correct. {587} Note says: For some reason, you can't duplicate Should say: You can't duplicate (683) caption to Figure 19-9, last sentence The word "calculation" is misspelled. Should be: "calculation" (686) 1st paragraph, last sentence Says: folks who don't much computer Should say: folks who don't have much computer
