Note: Energy Saver no longer offers automatic scheduled startup and shutdown. There is, however, a workaround: Start up the Mac in Mac OS 9. Use its Energy Saver control panel to schedule a startup. Open the Startup Disk control panel to select Mac OS X as the startup disk, and shut down the Mac. At the appointed time, the machine will start up automatically-in Mac OS X.

Click Add to summon the Open dialog box where you can ?nd the icon, select it, and then click Choose. You can specify the order in which your startup items auto-open just by dragging them up or down in the list. To remove an item, click it in the list and then click Remove.
