Errata for AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) Study Guide

It says: "An example is the Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), which allows for launching AWS resources in an on-premises environment."

This would be correct for AWS Outposts. However, VPC allows you to launch AWS resources in a logically isolated virtual network but it is still in the AWS Cloud, typically utilizing shared, multitenant hw.

Confirmed Errata

There are two (2) confirmed errata at the time I write this.

First one, the location shows as:
"Page Cloud Models / Private Cloud
4th Paragraph"
I think it should show the page, it is page 12. Maybe you want to update it to:
"Page12. Chapter 2 / Cloud Models / Private Cloud / 4th Paragraph"

Second one, the location shows as:
"Page 3. AI and Machine Learning
Mean squared error. MSE calculation after the table."
Same, it happens in page 49. Maybe you want to update it to:
"Page 49. Chapter 3: AI and Machine Learning / The ML Lifecycle / Model Development / Evaluation / Regression / Mean squared error: MSE calculation after the table."

The way the location are described now does not help the reader to quickly find the errata.

Second (2nd) paragraph, last line

Where it says
"and that caution is required when iterating in public forums"
it may mean to say
"and that caution is required when interacting in public forums"

Inside figure 9-3, second paragraph towards the right path.

Where is says
"Data resiliency
Physical location, sovereignty, performance"
It may mean to say:
"Data residency
Physical location, sovereignty, performance"

Data resiliency focuses on recovery. In this context, it is Data residency.

The figure contains six (6) concepts. The concepts are described in page 187-188, there it properly refers to it as Data residency three (3) times, one (1) in the title, two (2) in the body.

Page 3. AI and Machine Learning
Mean squared error. MSE calculation after the table.

It says, "Based on this, the MSE is 40." However, it should say "Based on this, the MSE is 55."
The errors are -5, 5, 5, 10 and 10, their squares are 25, 25, 25, 100 and 100. The sum of errors is 275. The average is 275/5, that is 55.
