It is mentioned in the listing 1-8: Four different functions with different performance profiles.

But, the given questions has only two given questions(So either it should be Two different functions with different performance profiles, or the book missed two more algorithms for the same question), also the source code along with questions doesn't have any other code.

Note from the Author or Editor:
The caption for listing 1-8 was mistakenly copied from listing 1-7. The caption for Listing 1-8 should read "Two implementations to detect palindromes."
