There are 30 links within the book that appear simply as blue triple question marks ??? . For example, final para of page 26 of chapter 2: "As you'll see in ???, CSS gives you..." Perhaps they are intentionally displayed that way, but it seems more likely (and appropriate) that it was intended to come back later and insert some text instead.

Note from the Author or Editor:
There are many links in the epub version that are displayed as ???.

Should these links be text instead? I'm not that familiar with the epub editions. For what it's worth the links do lead to places.

Bullet point number 9.

"Click on the left side of the panel" is wrong. What the instruction actually wants the reader to do is "click on the + sign at the left side of the menu underneath the panel".
In the paragraph that follows the bolded sentence, there is also a missing minus sign: the third sentence beginning "The button removes..." should read "The minus sign button removes..."

Note from the Author or Editor:
Page 207 (print). Step 9 and Step 11 begin Click + on the left side of the panel. In the epub version the "+" is missing.

See previous erratum regarding bullet point 9. Bullet point 11 of the same list has the same sort of issue - -the bolded heading gives incorrect instruction and the first sentence of the para following it omits a "+" sign.

Note from the Author or Editor:
On page 207 (print) steps 9 and 11 begin with "Click + on the left side of the panel"

In both cases the "+" is missing

Bullet point 1, last para

"At the end of the last paragraph on the page" should read "At the end of the second-last paragraph on the page", since the "All Natural Ingredients" para referred to is followed by another called "Technology Meets Good Nutrition."

Note from the Author or Editor:
On page 216 (print), in the paragraph that starts "At the end of the last paragraph..."

Change the sentenced to read:

At the end of the last paragraph, in the section with the headline
“All Natural Ingredients,” you’ll see the text “Read more about our natural ingredients.”

"The Top Menu Text settings should now match Figure 4-27." No, they shouldn't - in the Figure, the Face is wrong (should be "Verdana, Geneva etc") and so is the Transform menu setting (should be "Uppercase").

I also note in passing that the Ajatix Menu addon crashed Dreamweaver (closing the program) 4 times in the course of completing the Chapter 4 tutorial on my iMac, OS Yosemite. Each time it was when I used the Insert --> Ajatix --> Advanced CSS Drop Down Menu Light menu option in DW.

Note from the Author or Editor:
Author will provide new figure named Figure 4-27.tif.

Bullet point 5

The tutorial requires a file named menu.html but that file is not present in the relevant folder (chapter 05). I'll try copying it from an earlier folder and see how I go

Note from the Author or Editor:
The tutorial should include a file named menu.html. It will be provided by the author in the updated missingCD file

Figure 8.8

The Search text displayed in the Figure is not the same as that printed in step 4 of the instructions - the opening ".*site" is rendered in the Figure as "*.site". I don't know whether that change affects the Search.

Note from the Author or Editor:
The screenshot should be changes. A new fig will be provided by author named: Figure 8-8.tif

Figure 9-24

The "End Value" box in Figure 9-24 shows a 5 digit hex code - it's missing the middle E.

Note from the Author or Editor:
Figure 9-24: The screenshot shows an incorrect value in the "End Value" box. The value should be: #E1EBEB. Author will provide a new screenshot named: "Figure 9-24.tif"

In the opening sentence under "Building Fluid Grid Layout Pages", there is a step omitted from the creation process - after you hit "Create", DW asks you to nominate a name and location for an associated style sheet. Only after you do that, does it present you with the "brand-new fluid grid layout page".

Note from the Author or Editor:
Page 555 in Print. Please change first sentence to read:

After you fill in all the blanks in the New Document window and hit Create. Provide a name and folder in the usual mannter and then Dreamweaver
rewards you with a brand-new fluid grid layout page in the document window.

Bullet point 12 of "Styling Your Fluid Grid Web Page" states that the "text in the copyright inherits ... its color from the #banner, #copyright rule (step 11)." Perhaps this is a relic of an earlier version of the text and an alternative solution to the problem, because in step 11 we didn't set the text color by assigning properties to #banner and #copyright but by assigning them to the header and footer tags. Which is not the same thing. I hope!

Note from the Author or Editor:
Page 575 (Print version), Step 12, 2nd paragraph, 2nd sentence should read:

The text in the copyright inherits its sans-serif font from the <body> style rule
(steps 4 and 5) and its color from the header, footer rule (step 11).

In Figure 13-5, the caption mistakenly labels the mobile view as being top left (it is top right) and the tablet view as top right (it is left). The simplest solution would be to switch the images

Note from the Author or Editor:
I could not find any "left" or "right" references in Figure 13-5. The reader may be referring to Figure 13-1, but it looks like it is correctly captioned.

However, there is a reference to a blue tab that is circled in the fig. There is no ciricle it should go around the blue tab with the letters "img"

Bullet point 5 tells me to name the new Library item as "News", but there is already a Library item, the only existing one, named "news" [which inserts text beginning "Cafe temporarily (we hope) closed due to health inspection..."] and Dreamweaver therefore rejects the choice.

Note from the Author or Editor:
The library item "news" should not be included in the Missing CD forlder Chapter 21/Library.

Author will provide updated missingCD file named "MM_DWCC.ZIP"

2nd paragraph

I'm using the ePub format in iBooks (iOS 8.3 /iPad Air 2) -
In the above mentioned paragraph, instead of a link to another page or image, the text is:

"As you'll see in ???" , CSS gives you precise ....

which the '???' although links to page 1014, does not give any indication of where the link is pointing to, nor providing a 'return to page 234' link, unless I scroll back a page.

In the PDF version page page 90 paragraph 6 instead of a link the same text is simply:

"As you'll see on page 465", CSS gives you precise ....

Note from the Author or Editor:
The epub version is showing ??? instead of a specific reference. Clicking that link leads to width and height references (page 464 in PDF)

In the print and PDF version the correct page reference is 465 where the bullet points "Padding" and "Margin" appear.
