Figure 9-2

In the second figure, the beginning index of the sequence should be 1 instead of 0. And the range [2, 5] should cover the sequence "TTAC".

Note from the Author or Editor:
Yes this is correct. This error was introduced by the graphics artist, but I failed to notice during edits (my apologies). My original (correct) image is here: https://imgur.com/3tIDUtD

"Now, with our Sanger quality scores..."

"Now, with our Sanger quality scores converted to PHRED quality scores, we can apply the following formula to convert quality scores to the estimated probability the base is correct:

P = 10-Q/10
..."

According to "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phred_quality_score", the probability is logarithmically related to the Phred Quality Score for a base calling error. So shouldn't the sentence in the paragraph be:

"we can apply the following formula to convert quality scores to the estimated probability the base is incorrect:"?

Note from the Author or Editor:
Yes, this should read "incorrect".

The bibliography is not sorted (in an obvious way, at least). This makes searching for a reference from the text tedious. Please consider sorting the entries alphabetically according to the last name of the first author.
