Caption for figure 1-1

The last line of the caption says that the Spotlight box is in the upper-left corner; it is actually in the upper-right corner, as the figure clearly shows.

Last sentence in caption for figure 1-1 should read: If you're searching through a big document, use the Spotlight box right there in the upper-right corner.

1st paragraph

The second sentence gives examples of tabs on the ribbon. However, two of them are incorrect. "Reviewing" is actually called "Review", and I have not found any tab called "Format" in any of the Office components (it may be in Outlook, but I can't tell as I have the Home and Student version which does not include Outlook).

On page 8 in the first paragraph "Reviewing" should be changed to "Review." There is a Format tab that pops up when an object like Word Art is selected in in Word.

3rd bullet point

Sentence reads "If you're in one of the other views, Shift-Command-N creates a new email message."

The shortcut key should be Option-Command-N.

The fifth word in the paragraph should be Record, not Macro.

Figure 16 - 12

The vertical axis on the chart is labelled "X" axis and the horizontal axis on the chart is labelled "Y" axis.

On the same page the third paragraph is a notewhich states " The X axis is the horizontal axis; the Y axis is the vertical..."

In figure 16-12 the X and Y axis are labeled improperly and should be swapped.

The file on theMissing CD for the sparklines example is 16-2_sparklines.xlsx.

The Missing CD file for the sparklines example is "16-2_sparklines.xlsx"

It is improperly referenced twice on page 496. Once in the 3rd paragraph and once in Step 1.
