Note from the Author or Editor:
p. 29, bullet point starting with "Home", last sentence, change "(see the box "Getting Somewhere in a Hurry," on page 28)." to "(see page 28)."

2nd sentence of first paragraph under the NPV() and IRR(): section

The end of the sentence states: "... the value that a projected investment mustday." (with 'day' in italics)
It appears that some words are omitted or that there is some mistake, because 'mustday' doesn't make sense.

p. 306, first paragraph after heading, second sentence, "the value that a projected investment mustday." should be "the value that a projected investment has today." (with "today" in italics)

Figure 24-10

In the explanation of Figure 24-10 it says: "The only disadvantage is that the list you use must be on the same worksheet".

I'd like to add: You CAN put the options-list on a different worksheet. On the other worksheet you give the range with your options a name, eg Listmenu. Then, in the Data Validation dialog box, you choose List and in the Source box you type this named range, in this case: =Listmenu .

Note from the Author or Editor:
p. 703, caption for Figure 24-10, change these two sentences:

"The only disadvantage is that the list you use must be on the same worksheet. Here, that means the entire product catalog is off to the side of the current worksheet, so that it's available for the drop-down list and lookup functions."

to:
"The list you use must be in the same worksheet (as in this example) or it must be a named ranged (see page 371). Here, the entire product catalog is off to the side of the current worksheet."
